rollsman4 Posted October 3, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 3, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just purchased the S 006 and the 70mm lens from A Reputable store in 9+ condition. I have it about a week and the Rear LCD shows my exposure to look correct. When I check it out on my monitor it is very much UNDEREXPOSED. So, I lowered the Brightness adjustment to the Lowest setting and still looks perfectly exposed and when I check it on my computer its Very Underexposed. Can anyone tell me what might be causing this? I want so much to keep the S BUT I am NOT happy with whats happening. I will try to attach a file now. I use Flash on Camera as I do when not shooting off camera flash. ISO 200. F6.5/8.0 at 10-12 feet. I know my flash settings so its not that I don't know. I noticed today on my SL that my Exposure compensation was +3 (I don't remember setting it there, but whatever). That can have impact on what you see on the LCD screen. Also maybe check your LCD screen brightness. I never thought about the Expos Compen. I will check that for sure. I hardly ever touch that adjustment. I did Lower the Brightness as LOW as I could. But you may want to try to take exposure readings with a hand held meter (or another camera, for that matter) and compare what the 006 reading is. Or try a different metering mode for comparison's sake. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I have no doubt that you pondered long and hard about this important and expensive decision. The problem was sticky aperture unit. I.e. Even with exposure comp. off or neutral. The aperture stay close or it will not open up. Either case creating overexposure or underexposed images.
