Caught this little fellow inflight when I was concentration on the eggret He came out of nowhere!, sorry but not  as sharp as I would have liked, using  my nikon D600 with my R 135 2.5

I'm happy to be the first to comment. I'm sure many will follow--or should. The first photo is outstanding and very unique in perspective. It's unusual to see photos of birds in flight taken from above. In fact, that shot is so spectacular, I'd prefer to see it posted all by itself with nothing else competing for attention.

While they are all exceptional I keep coming back to that third image. What I really like about it is the way bird's feather shapes are picked up by the spike ends of the palm leaves. The pale blue color is perfect and draws you in. Blurr, yes, the bird is moving!
