stuny Posted August 26, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 26, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Here are three quick photos of a woman named Wilma. For it we used two narrow, vertical softboxes with scrims on them of B2 strobes - One in front of her and one behind. The one behind was set for a stop or two less light than the one in front. I had her step just a bit closer to me than straight on with the nights, and the lights blacked out the background since I shot at f/8. Welcome, dear visitor! hoppyman Posted August 26, 2016 Share #3 Posted August 26, 2016 Classic lighting used very well and these are very appealing. My personal favourite is the third due to Wilma's eyes engaging the viewer (and her expression that goes with that.Well done!

XVarior Posted August 30, 2016 Share #11 Posted August 30, 2016 You're shooting profoto B2?! Nice simple lighting setting Stuart, I have one tip if you allow me and that regarding hair. Always make sure hair looks substantially thick and dense by never allowing gaps of no hair between strands. I would have it all over her back, or completely over one of her shoulders.
