topoxforddoc Posted June 10, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) It poured with rain recently at Prescott. It didn't stop some of the Bugatti drivers going for it though. They seem much more committed than others with substantially cheaper machinery. Thanks for looking Charlie R9/DMR 80-200/4 ROM

stuny Posted June 11, 2007 Share #2 Posted June 11, 2007 Charlie - Terrific shots, but fiscally irrespsonsible.
elansprint72 Posted June 11, 2007 Share #3 Posted June 11, 2007 Non-car dudes, look away now.... Charlie, As an old B&W fart I'm initially drawn to your second (excellent) shot but then just look at the range of dynamics in the colour one..... inside rear wheel spinning wildly, inside front wheel sliding, yet all under control and the whole equipe is going where it was intended. Fabulous shot, did you shoot these from "public enclosures"? If so; Serious Respect (as my kids would say).

Shot these at the exit and entry to the Esses respectively. Pre-focussed my 80-200/4ROM, aperture at 5.6, AE and just followed the cars around and refocussed as they slid. Yo!!! Glad you like them. I prefer no 1 as well, but I know you older members prefer the look of antiquated pictures!! At Prescott, I wasn't much further away from the track than you were shooting that lovely Maserati 250F.
