Advertisement Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Hi ropo54, Take a look here Best prices on the new Leica 35mm 1.4 lens?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tom0511 Posted June 24, 2016 Share #2 Â Posted June 24, 2016 I think if you look around you can get it a little under list price but nothing I would call discount. This lens rocks even if it is very expensive for what it is.
Guest Posted June 25, 2016 Share #3 Â Posted June 25, 2016 I saw some used ones (black & silver) at B&H for ~$1950 not too long ago.

graphlex Posted July 23, 2016 Share #7 Â Posted July 23, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Tamarkin website lists the 35 TL at $1995, the 23 TL at $1595 and the T at $1395.
ropo54 Posted July 23, 2016 Author Share #8 Â Posted July 23, 2016 The Tamarkin website lists the 35 TL at $1995, the 23 TL at $1595 and the T at $1395. Â Actually, there are some terrific prices on the Leica T now on eBay, used and or new. Â My Leica store has preowned Ts selling for $795. I've also seen the TL 23mm lens for $1000 usd. Perhaps something new coming at photokina?
gbealnz Posted July 24, 2016 Share #9 Â Posted July 24, 2016 You're not wrong there. I had a T last year, decided to cull the Leica stuff a little, but added a film M at the same time. Now with a bit of goading from the T membership here, and these awesome prices, I have succumbed, and bought one today. It will take a week or so to arrive, but I am already anticipating it immensely. Lenses? Not sure yet. I have an off-brand M to T adapter, so will use that, with my M lenses, (28/2.8, 35/2, and 50/2 x2) plus the couple of R lenses I have. Ultimately, I figure I'll source a 23mm Summicron, and maybe run a wide fixed, something like the 15mm Voigtlander. Gary

I think you already have good lenses, and you are going to enjoy T again! Well Return!
gbealnz Posted July 24, 2016 Share #11 Â Posted July 24, 2016 Thanks Louis, you had a major part in unzipping my wallet I might add. But equally, the lure of the T as a digital back for most any optics, especially the M lenses, well, why not. Time will tell. Gary

Kyros Moutsouris Posted July 24, 2016 Share #14 Â Posted July 24, 2016 Miami, FL. USA Consider buying from UK as you may benefit from a drop of GBP/USD ratio
graphlex Posted July 24, 2016 Share #15 Â Posted July 24, 2016 Sourcing in the UK saves almost 20% on M lenses by my reckoning at current exchange rate-which makes the recent Leica US price increase awkward.
Guest Posted August 3, 2016 Share #16 Â Posted August 3, 2016 I just spotted a used 35mm Summilux-TL at B&H. Â At $1,949 - that's a heck of value for an outstanding Leica Summilux lens. Â Â It is my favorite T lens by far (even if it's a tad larger than I would prefer).
