I would say your setup works ! 

out of interest - what is the setup ? 

from the catchlights in the eyes, it looks like a small softbox to camera left, and possibly a reflector to the right ?

Setup as in image below, but also in left hand a Godox 360 with octagonal folding softbox

I was going  to get an AD-360.

 

then they released the AD-600.

 

now i am not sure.... 

the 360 is smaller and lighter, the 600 has more power (great for fighting through an ND filter on the M or pushing against full sun) and is all in one convenient unit.

 

 

 

 

I am interested to see your pictures from the convention !

I remember seeing those when you first posted them, great series of pics.

i am leaning towards the 600 - its bulkier and heavier, but is all on one, no cables or stand mount to mess around with, and would be handy when i need to flood an area with light like i did last night
