enboe Posted May 20, 2016 Share #4 Posted May 20, 2016 Even lighter without the case ... I have the same problem, new camera, looks pretty, don't trust the world. I'm forcing myself to shoot case-less with the 'D262 starting this weekend. See how many scars I accumulate, although at least I have no screen to worry about. Gregm61 Posted May 20, 2016 Share #7 Posted May 20, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just received my M6 back from Youxin Ye a couple of days ago. Had the finder upgraded to the MP-type, with multi-coated optics and the non-flare package/condenser installed. It is REALLY nice, LOL...
microview Posted May 20, 2016 Share #8 Posted May 20, 2016 Added a grip a couple of days ago and I am pleased with this. Very satisfied with the M262 and a fine complement to the Q. GAS is pointing me in the direction of the 50 APO Summicron .
CYBORA Posted May 20, 2016 Share #9 Posted May 20, 2016 I love my M 262 too ! I use it with 35 Summilux FLE and Zeiss Planar 50 . This is my first time with a rangefinder camera and it pushes me to go outside to capture more I still love my Q too ( especially at night )
Edax Posted May 20, 2016 Share #10 Posted May 20, 2016 After being a lurker on this forum for nearly ten years, a few months ago I bought a Leica... M typ 262 with 35/1.4FLE. If anything, for looks I would have preferred the screw instead of the red dot
marchyman Posted May 21, 2016 Share #11 Posted May 21, 2016 Every so often I grumble as I attach a tripod mounting plate to my M 262 and grumble some more when I have to detach the plate to get at the memory card or battery. I'd probably stop grumbling if I bought the RRS base plate -- assuming it works with the 262. RRS doesn't say. But then I'd think about how often I actually use a tripod with the M and wonder if the cost of the RRS base plate is worth my grumblings or a source of future grumblings. Besides that I find the M 262 with 75mm lens a perfect partner to my Q. My Canon 7D is feeling neglected.
