Lockdown is easing, downtown walks are appealing. Sadly it seems not every store survived

Got my hands on a Leica m60...I'm new to rangefinders and it's a challenge!  How many times will I forget to take the cap off the lens? One of my first results...

@PorchpocklerIt looks like you have some specks of dust on your sensor. It could do with cleaning. There are a number of ways to do this. One starter technique is to go into a dust free area (bathrooms are usually as free of dust as anywhere in most houses), remove the lens, point the camera at the floor and use an air blower to dislodge the dust. Then reattach the lens and take a test shot at f/16 pointing at a flat white surface. Look at the picture and you will be able to see if any dust remains.

Thanks for the heads up!  I hadn't looked closely enough or else I would have edited that...

Any idea how to get around the shutter cover on the m 60?  Guess I can google it...

Sorry, I don't know the M60. Maybe someone else can help?

Any idea how to get around the shutter cover on the m 60?  Guess I can google

1. Turn the main switch clockwise as far as it will go.
2. Simultaneously press the shutter release and the function button. The
shutter opens, exposing the sensor for cleaning.
Note:
If the battery capacity is too low, the shutter will not open and bc (= battery capacity) appears in the viewfinder to indicate this.
Carrying out cleaning:
Make sure you follow the instructions on the next page.
When cleaning is complete, turn off the camera with the main switch. The shutter closes again after 10s.
