jaapv Posted March 29, 2016 Share #21 Posted March 29, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Take care to not drop your M or your camera bag when your M is in it; knocking the rangefinder out of alignment is likely the most prevalent mishap that can necessitate sending your camera in for repair. This has happened to me a couple of times and it is frustrating to be without my camera for 2-4 weeks due to my own inattention or clumsiness. Dropping the camera/camera bag -although I would certainly not advise doing so - is not the issue it used to be since the rangefinder mechanism change on the M240. The vertical adjustment which was the one that would be knocked out of alignment has been changed to a more robust design, nearly impossible to shift accidentally.
