IkarusJohn Posted February 24, 2020 Share #626 Posted February 24, 2020 I'll be listing this lens in the Classified section in the next few days, if anyone is interested (funding the XCD 135/2.8). I like this lens a lot, but it's large and heavy and I don't use it enough; and I will get more use out of the 135/230 combination on the X1D (180mm is my preferred tele focal length, and I prefer a prime for bulk if nothing else); and the short telephoto of 105mm is also useful. John Smith Posted March 27, 2020 Share #627 Posted March 27, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone bought a case for this lens? It doesn't fit in my Pelican case and I'd like to have a case while traveling.

John Z. Goriup Posted March 28, 2020 Share #630 Posted March 28, 2020 Now that spring is here and the snow is mostly gone, we can expect more & more sightings like this, especially with hardly any traffic on the roads. John Z. Goriup Posted March 28, 2020 Share #633 Posted March 28, 2020 I love the SL / 90 -280 APO V.E. combo, but I also agree with several others, it would be indeed most useful if Leica introduced another telephoto of simlar image quality and more reach. Jeff S Posted March 30, 2020 Share #637 Posted March 30, 2020 Thanks, but I solved all my carry issues since then, using existing bags along with the small Billingham rucksack, depending on additional gear. I decided against any single lens case options, but was responding to John Smith’s question here. Jeff
