The Panasonic DMW-LVF2 is the viewfinder you need. It works perfectly. If you go to the Panasonic, Lumix website you will see there are other accessories listed for the DMC-LX7 camera that may be of interest to you. I had a very hard time seeing through the camera's viewfinder while using it on ski slopes recently due to glare. Just couldn't get my eye positioned properly.
