Wow I really like this !  :)

I agree. It's as if it's been made with a Hasselblad or a Monochrome1. Did you use a tripod Bart? Very good B&W conversion

Structure, tonal rage, blur and sharpness - just everything fits in this !   :D

Thanks!

I didn't use a tripod. 1/3000 at f/2.

Conversion with DxO Optics and FilmPack.

both M9-P & Voigtländer Lanthar 90

i would have thought it was gladioles, but that is not a priority...... :)

both photos are well done in the presentation, but the second photo is much more pleasing to me - here the black / white look is better - the first photo seems to look warmer at first sight, but the lights on the flowers are mine too bright

Low light folly  :

Handheld, not the right camera, not the right lens, not the right film, but somehow it does capture the mood...

Are you telling me this is the cathedral that has by a few meters not been run over by the 'autoroute'?

Actually, I think that must have been another cathedral. This one is located in the old city centre. The next highway, fortunately, is quite some distance away. But I was there for two days only, so that I would not know much about their city planning history...

:)

The toning applied is warmer in the first one.

The light was really strong but is actually coming from behind the flowers, shining through. That was what I liked in the scene :)
