Northwest Wanderer Posted March 4, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 4, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) My lab does not like rainy days when he is forced to stay inside. Living in the northwestern region of the U.S. it is common to have rain days on end. The ducks love it. Welcome, dear visitor! platypus Posted March 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted March 4, 2016 Sad face, this is such a charming study. He has no conception of 'time' and thus is condemned to live always in the present, to him the rain will be never ending....but wait....lo and behold the sun appears....what joy in simple things! Northwest Wanderer Posted March 5, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted March 5, 2016 Nice thoughts and observations Dee. If the rains continue much longer I'll be at the window with the dog.

platypus Posted March 5, 2016 Share #5 Posted March 5, 2016 Nice thoughts and observations Dee. If the rains continue much longer I'll be at the window with the dog. Thanks Bill, I wish you could send us some of your apparently unwanted rain (as my irreligious father used to say) it's as dry as a wooden god hereabouts
Northwest Wanderer Posted March 6, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted March 6, 2016 Thanks Bill, I wish you could send us some of your apparently unwanted rain (as my irreligious father used to say) it's as dry as a wooden god hereabouts It has rained every day for a week. The forecast is for another week of rain. I'll miss the rain when the hot, dry summer comes. For now it's high mud boots when I'm tending my horses. We call it the mud season. david strachan Posted March 6, 2016 Share #8 Posted March 6, 2016 It's a lovely picture Bill. I wonder if a Labrador is the ultimate companion...certainly they help many disabled. And don't argue like a husband or wife! cheers Dave S
fotografr Posted March 7, 2016 Share #9 Posted March 7, 2016 I can well understand why you keep him in when it's rainy. Few things smell worse than a wet lab. Lovely photo, however. I like the effect or the rain on the window.
Northwest Wanderer Posted March 7, 2016 Author Share #10 Posted March 7, 2016 Dee, it's raining again today! Dave, lab's are fine companions. They only want to please. Brent, the rain on the window really helped make the image.
platypus Posted March 7, 2016 Share #11 Posted March 7, 2016 Dee, it's raining again today! Bill, I think your rain has made our TV news over here, yesterday it was reported that parts of the US are enjoying (?) an unusually prolonged rainfall event and even some unseasonal snow....I thought of you and your dear little dog. Northwest Wanderer Posted March 8, 2016 Author Share #12 Posted March 8, 2016 Dee, Happy to say the rain has stopped today and the sun is out. Looks like the weather is improving. Saw bluebirds this morning. That's a sure sign of spring.
