The also overdone lovers in the street.

The more I think about it, the more I realize everything has been done, redone, overdone and done again. I think we're all 30 years late to the street photography party, after all.

Indeed, with the proliferation of digital and the internet, humorous/symmetrical juxtapositions are a dime a dozen. Rather than waiting for the next exhibit to come to our town or the next book to be published, we can fill our entire days viewing this stuff with just a few lazy clicks. See, e.g., https://www.flickr.com/groups/onthestreet/pool/

Using a film workflow for this is still rare, but who really cares?

And who cares who cares?

Beautiful women (and men) were invented a long time ago. It doesn't mean they are any less interesting to look at today. And there can never be an excess surplus of them.

Now there's some serious badass photography. Far, far, far away from the fat guy eating a hot dog next to a Weight Watcher's ad kinda thing.

As they say, better late than never...I'm not so sure that 'every' interesting and well executed street photograph has been taken already.  It's like saying every Rock n' Roll song has been done, redone, overdone and done again.

Success hits are nothing more than recipes, so yes it's has been done to death. Of course there's always a new twist to each new hit, but it's all basically about beating a dead horse.

For me, photography is a profound meditation, so I will always enjoy it.

Ned,

I will always enjoy photography too, many reasons why.   There are still plenty of new twists to expose and live horses beat (figuratively of course) to keep the party going. .

I looked very carefully all the photos of NB23 and I have to say "Chapeau"!

You know how to take the right moment. Maybe some situations happens without to plan, but mostly I think you exactly create the composition of the moment taken. Wonderful!

I want to learn if I can...

But frankly say: Just one photo I dislike: the girl in a very private situation (maybe no toilet was thee) in Post #22. That was no street photography, it was (maybe not wanted but seems to be) to show up someone. Also taking a photo of kissing people - why? Street Photo is a balancing act between report and -sometimes- disgrace.

Because mostly your balance is to the 1st - I also like mostly what is posted here.

Thank you very much.

Pic #22, although if may look voteuristic, wasn't. I took this shot while bathing in a crowd of at least 1000 people. Some sort of festival with lots people peeing everywhere.

Thanks for your kind words. I have so many to post, and I'm working on so mny more but I often just don't see the point of posting as there's just so little action going on.
