Advertisement Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Hi sabahan, Take a look here Mt S2 dose recognise my new 24mm lens . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
John McMaster Posted February 23, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 23, 2016 The S2(-P) does not auto-update the lens, you need to do that separately via the camera controls. However I am not aware of a later firmware for the 24mm.... john
John McMaster Posted February 23, 2016 Share #3 Posted February 23, 2016 That is rather naughty, Leica have pulled lens firmware updates? Those of us with S2 series need them.... The 24mm latest (to my knowledge) is 134.43.12.0 (from update 018 in 2014): Turn on the camera. Press the menu control button marked “SETUP“ (1.21) and use the setting dial (1.18) to select “FIRMWARE“ (5.35). Press the setting dial to display the camera and lens firmware versions. john
