42942 Posted December 24, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 24, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dears, I'm sharing a couple of pics taken during this year's techno street parade in Zurich. It was end of August and it was really hot with lots of action in the midst of the crowd. All shots taken on Velvia 50 film (challenging the least I can say!) on Leica M7 with Zeiss 35mm lens. alun Posted December 30, 2015 Share #6 Posted December 30, 2015 I love some of these -- the provisional, fragmentary nature of them... I love pictures that are so skilfully done they look accidental -- #2/right, the second picture (foot/face), for example, seems to me to be perfect for this kind of high-energy, colour-rich experience, when what is often most interesting is happening almost at the periphery of vision. You have tasty really tuned-in -- it's a kind of improvising, isn't it, and requires both a relaxed attitude _and_ concentration. And nothing looks quite like Velvia.
