bencoyote Posted December 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 22, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) There are 3 dots above the red LED that flashes when you turn the camera on. They may be LEDs but if they are, I never noticed them turning on. I noticed in the pictures that the M262 doesn't appear to have them but that may just be the pictures. What are those? Are they actually LEDs? Do they indicate some sort of error code or something?

Guest JonathanP Posted December 22, 2015 Share #3 Posted December 22, 2015 Thats the loudspeaker for video playback, so not needed on the M262. I did hear a sound out of mine just after I got the M240 and just before I disabled the video button Jonathan

You would think that they would have had a diagram in the manual that explained what everything was.

bencoyote Posted December 23, 2015 Author Share #9 Posted December 23, 2015 Like this? Bedienungselemente.png 32 = Speaker Guess where I found that. Where did you find that? That is exactly what I was looking for. I just went back and double checked my copy of the manual and looked at the online version and unless I'm blind it is not in there. https://us.leica-camera.com/content/download/100592/844581/version/3/file/Instruction_Leica+M+Typ+240_DE-EN.pdf
jdlaing Posted December 23, 2015 Share #10 Posted December 23, 2015 Open the flap inside the front cover. (I'm saying this from memory) If you have the electronic PDF version it is at the top of the first page.

pop Posted December 23, 2015 Share #12 Posted December 23, 2015 The picture is on page two of the pdf. However, the picture is very small and the page is so wide that it may extend beyond the screen, depending on the viewing program you use. The Designation of parts starts on page 136.
