Heathrow now allows two personal items through security, though your airline might not. [RANT} The whole situation in the UK is becoming quite ridiculous! Some airports will allow you 2 items, but others won't as they are deemed not to have adequate staff/equipment. Even if your airport allows it (e.g. Stanstead) your airline (e.g. Easyjet, Ryanair - no shock there, then) may not allow 2 items. And to cap it all the 100ml liquid restriction stays and seems to be spreading like a contagion across the world. So if you find an airport and airline that will let you travel with carry-on and camera bag, you still can't take your little Victorinox multi-thingie and your shaving foam/gel. It's about time manufacturers started waking up and supplying 100ml packages of our favourite products! Total confusion!
