Rick, Krycek, Louis, Stuart, Steve and Her Berger - Thank you, and very funny and I get you on the Maserati vs Jag comparison.  But fwiw, Maserati is slowly killing its brand just like Jag with its economy models.   :o

Thanks.  If I was on your streets, I might feel the same...

I think you misunderstood the point... This is not related to the street but to people. Don't worry, no one kills street photographers around Turkey or Dubai, wherever you tried to mention.

Of course not. But not everyone who looks unhappy in a photo actually is. Photos do tend to "lie"...

He and i actually struck up a very friendly conversation after i took this. But the photo doesnt tell you this, which is why i like it...

That look might tell any of several stories. As a street photo, perhaps the i clination is to infer irritation at the pic being taken.

But if it were a commercial photo, the quicker inference to be drawn is, I think, about the irritation of riding this rental bike.

Maseratti is broken? Maybe he has Prius envy for the car he just passed. On his way to a meeting to which he's surely not eager to attend?

There's lots of street shots where I wish the subject didn't look at the camera, but for this shot, I wouldn't want to dispense with it!

I was glad to hear Adam's follow up about the chat. I suspect that implies he wasnt on the way to an HR meeting to receive his walking (whacking) papers.

Adam,

quite a good catch.

The guy looks unhappy and makes an awkward figure on this rental bike. Nice to follow all those imaginary stories here. that is what street is about..... :)

Thanks, Breton and Iduna.

Brenton - I think the intended implication is that, if and when needed, I can apply sufficient degree of charm to diffuse a potentially volatile situation... :)
