But not everyone who looks unhappy in a photo actually is. Photos do tend to "lie"... He and i actually struck up a very friendly conversation after i took this. As a street photo, perhaps the i clination is to infer irritation at the pic being taken. But if it were a commercial photo, the quicker inference to be drawn is, I think, about the irritation of riding this rental bike. Maseratti is broken? Maybe he has Prius envy for the car he just passed. On his way to a meeting to which he's surely not eager to attend? There's lots of street shots where I wish the subject didn't look at the camera, but for this shot, I wouldn't want to dispense with it! I was glad to hear Adam's follow up about the chat.
