Wilier Posted November 25, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 25, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just bought a previously used M (top 240) five days ago, nearly mint, I*d say, but there's a question I can't seem to solve: don't get the horizon lines visible. The instructions manual puts it rather odd: The corresponding display is called up as required. Of course I have set the horizon on in the menu, but still no horizon lines are seen. Is there still a trick I can't see or is my M only nearly nearly mint?

Guest JonathanP Posted November 25, 2015 Share #3 Posted November 25, 2015 Hello, welcome to the forum! With live view enabled, keep clicking the "Info" button (it cycles round on each press) until you see the horizon lines on the LCD or EVF. Wilier Posted November 25, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted November 25, 2015 Thanks a lot! It works! Of course, info - why didn't I guessed that. As to the question, where do I expect to see the lines: in the mountains of Grand Canaria at the moment. I'm getting confident that the M is the perfect companion with my bicycle trips. Like the M9 and M8 before that.

Steve Ricoh Posted November 26, 2015 Share #9 Posted November 26, 2015 The rangefinder provides nice framelines, doesnt it, Leica call them the 'bright line view'. I use them as a guide, rare to get a wonky horizontal.
