View from St Andrews Church Tower, Ufford near Stamford Lincs UK.

St John the Baptist Church, Barnack visible left of centre; St Michael's Church Uffington just visible top right. Between the two churches on the horizon 28 miles distant it's possible, on a clear day and with the aid of binoculars, to see St Botolph's Church Tower, Boston – 266 feet / 81m high.  Ufford, 44m above sea level, is the highest point coming in from the Wash.  Plan to try and photograph Boston Stump on another day using a longer lens e.g., 800mm with 2x extender. Climbing the very narrow and dusty limestone spiral stairs to access St Andrews Church Tower roof, whilst carrying a HD tripod plus camera / lens, will not be easy – but could be worth the effort on a clear day. Might require an assistant to help.

North Beach Fishing Jetty - This is one of the first images taken with the SL 601 back in April 2016. I can't say that I have had a better camera, well maybe after today I can. I am at the beginning of the end for this camera and estimate some small amounts of grief as I put the attachment aside and make new connections. It's time to say thanks and goodbyes, I have no regrets and it's all been good.

Perhaps I will be posting less images in this section?  I would like to think that the 601 will still get some use as time goes by. If not, I will be over in the Post your SL2S Pictures Here page.

"A Story of Grief" The Woman was talking about her family loss to the man. All the way on the Train she spoke of her pain. I tried not to listen but I was already a part of her public expression of grief. There would seem to be some benefit for her dialogue and that bystanders might have empathy for her story? I didn't mind being "roped in", I knew what was going on and besides her benefit in the grief expression didn't affect me.

She seemed to have an outcome when the train arrived in Midland, even if it was sharing sone pain and while holding on to her loss for continued attention and "strokes".          SL 601 - ISO 800, 35 Summilux M Asph f1.4 1/16000 sec
