Seems like I can work closer with focusing & framing accuracy with M lenses via direct view on SL than with the window finder on M...

For example these 2

Autofocus camera might have chosen the elbow or the hand
RF up close I might have missed the focus, or mis-frame with the arm more in my way than I realized due to the offset view...

Well today we had horrendous photography weather on the isle of skye as it was pissing down most of the day and really blowing a wholly. I did get some shots with the S007 as I'm 100% confident that it is weather sealed whereas with the SL and M lenses I'm not that confident so I hardly took that out today. I will post up some pictures after I get back to Dundee tomorrow (via Ffordes to try out the X1D).

What I really like about the SL is how easy it is to shoot M lenses especially the Noctilux and the 21mm SME....... I love that little lens.

Another thing I like about the SL is it's a perfect walk about competition, it's light fast and most of the time it nails the focus........... pictures to follow [emoji41][emoji41][emoji482][emoji482][emoji3][emoji3]

Gdansk Oliwa again ......resorted to taking an iPad screenshot of the photo and then cropping and uploaded that instead ...... better than the various (cr)apps I have downloaded.

You need to dump that ipad etch-a-sketch you have and get a real computer - Surface Pro. Runs LR and PS without resorting to the emasculated iOS (cr)apps. Though I could understand you holding back if you're feeling poor after your latest purchase  :).

Neil, the SL seems to suit you well. Great shots.

Thanks Steve.........Yes I think the SL will be a keeper and a nice complement to the S007
