Peugeot 504 - I had one from 1974 - 504Ti :)

Mine was a 1976 504D. I bought it very inexpensively (and pretty beat up) in 1988, after my Toyota MR2 had been stolen. A very nice car to drive.

Sadly, the timing chain broke and destroyed the engine about a year later; it was too expensive to have it fixed, and I'd managed to retrieve the MR2 from the thieves by that time.

We had winter at the weekend ... lasted 2 days and has now gone .....

All a bit pathetic compared to Helged's photos above .....

SL+50APO (f2).

Enough now... But the SL behaved brilliantly at minus 15-20 deg C. No problems with the battery (or other issues) whatsoever, although pressing the front button (exposure compensation in my setup) with stiff and frozen fingers didn't work that well...

I've got to do head shots for my daughter's school musical in a couple weeks, so I was practicing head shots in my living room.  What do you think?  Highlights in the hair are a bit stronger than I intended, but I need more space to address that--SF24D was already dialed back to its minimum value.  Other than that I was fairly pleased.

Leica SL, 1/180s, ISO 70 on the one without the dog, ISO 400 on the one with the dog (since I needed more depth of field--dialed up the ISO when I changed f stop rather than adjusting the lighting).  Leica 24-90 Vario-Elmarit @ 90mm, f/4 for the older girl and f/11 for the girl and dog.  The older girl is really excited--she gets to play Maria in the Sound of Music.  Proud Papa.

Both files brought into Lightroom for processing.  Custom white balance, levels adjustment, reduction in contrast, brightening of the eyes, and smoothed out the skin tones a touch.  Key light should have been from the other side on my younger daughter, but this was really just for testing...

Good job.  I like them.  The first one is very good as a formal portrait and the second very natural.
