bobbywise Posted November 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 16, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I recently got an M4-P (great camera by the way), which is missing the flash plugs on the rear panel. I did a search on eBay, and came across a nice guy in Australia who makes them for the M3. He doesn't know if they fit the M4-P (doesn't know anyone near him to check with an M4-P). Likewise, I don't know anyone locally who has an M3 to see if their flash plugs would fit. The guy has been nice enough to offer sending me a sample, just to find out if they do indeed fit my M4-P. However, I don't want to waste his time, especially if I can get the answer via other methods (this forum, etc.). Does anyone know if the M3 flash plugs fit in the M4-P ? Cheers, Rob
Advertisement Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Hi bobbywise, Take a look here M3 flash sockets on an M4-P. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
earleygallery Posted November 16, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 16, 2015 No, the M2/M3 have a different type of flash socket which you need adaptors for to use with the usual type of plug. Just search ebay for flash caps and I'm sure you'll find what you want.
pico Posted November 16, 2015 Share #3 Posted November 16, 2015 Hi, I recently got an M4-P (great camera by the way), which is missing the flash plugs on the rear panel. How strange! I have never seen one like that. Has anyone else?
earleygallery Posted November 16, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 16, 2015 How strange! I have never seen one like that. Has anyone else? I take it the OP means the plastic caps, not the actual pc sockets - perhaps you can clarify, Rob.
bobbywise Posted November 17, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted November 17, 2015 LOL, yes, I meant the plastic caps. Thanks James, I'll let the guy know that they won't be the correct size ! Rob
