Guest )-( Posted January 4, 2016 Share #461 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Mark, I will have a search on Clovelly and I've still to catch up on all of this great thread. It's great to know there's so many Australian and even more local (I'm in Randwick) Leica users out there. Love #3 and #4 Nick, beautiful light and composition, and the sheep yards especially platypus. *Edit - And finally made my way through the whole thread - some amazing captures, love the wide variety, tried to 'Thank' all my very favourites but thanks to all those sharing. How I wish I'd had an M9/M6 in my hand at some of those places; the Flinders, Simpson Desert, Kangaroo Island etc.. I'll have to go back! The desert/arid regions are my favourite of all. david strachan Posted January 7, 2016 Share #470 Posted January 7, 2016 Lovely pictures Dee. Looks like you can get the same tones out of your M9 as the MM. The old settlers were tough, eh? Hewn from local granite. All the best Dave S

All the best Dave S Dave...indeed, I'd noticed that myself....they are quite indistinguishable really, and that follows through to the prints. Makes you wonder! Thanks for your nice comment. Regarding the old building, they probably used convict labour, tough is certainly the word.

Clouds more than a huge bonus, but even a grad to black is so dynamic. All the best Dave S Dave, thank you for your nice comments! Actually these are not our cows and calves, we have Limousin cattle, they come in three different colours; apricot, red or black and are blessed with unusually gentle temperaments. This mob were just nicely positioned for the camera, so much luck is involved, though one step left or right, or backwards, can often make or break compositionally....and I always hope for clouds, there have not been many this summer.
