platypus Posted March 22, 2016 Share #583 Posted March 22, 2016 Jay, thank you for looking and for your kind comment. Autumn is finally here; cool days and small storms bringing lovely light and shadows....the very best time of year for photography, and I am rediscovering the joy of landscapes with the little 28. The river is home to trout, platypus, black swans, moorhens and flocks of wood of duck...hunting is not permitted. M9/28 Elmarit Again, I like your greens. Such a peaceful scene. I see some swans in the distance. You make it so inviting to quietly paddle along...or just sit and absorb. all best Dave S The Elmarit again...so similar to Leica Q output perhaps???? platypus Posted March 25, 2016 Share #586 Posted March 25, 2016 Dave ....again thanks so much. Glad you like the greens, I have moderately desaturated them in Lightroom...which always seems to be required with both blues and greens to match reality. Q????......judging from what I have seen of Leica Q images on the Forum it would be difficult to differentiate between results from the little Elmarit and M9 combo and those from the Q. Though this is of course just my humble opinion.

platypus Posted April 1, 2016 Share #596 Posted April 1, 2016 A self sown, coppiced gum tree (ribbony) doing well on a steep shaley cliff high above the river. The Australian eucalyptus is an interesting tree, they come in so many unique shapes and styles and will thrive in the harshest of conditions, if they choose to. M9/28 Elmarit Welcome, dear visitor! MarkP Posted April 9, 2016 Author Share #600 Posted April 9, 2016 Very peaceful scene. That gentle colouring from the more colour neutral M262 (c/w M9) and 75 Summilux is beautiful.
