How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Flower arrangements are an "easy" subject because of their natural beauty, but with care you can lift them up beyond the level of a cliche shot. In this case, I put the vase on a sweep of black velvet and grounded the image with the tile placed underneath. I  used electronic flash and a large softbox, plus a fill card underneath and out of view. Leica S007 and a 120mm Zeiss Macro Planar using the Contax adapter.

Outstanding images.Many congratulations on your publication.For some inside info, could you kindly share with us most were shot with a 24 ml lens please.

Thank you. In addition to the S camera, I used two different 4x5 cameras, M9, M-P 240, and Monochrom 246 for the book. With the S I used 24, 30, 70, 120 and 180. I used the 24 more than any other lens.
