Wow - incredible skills - I always enjoy watching a craftsman work.

with todays CNC machining and engraving, i fear skills like yours will disappear as the "old masters" die out, without apprentices learning the craft - not just engravers either, but many other fields too.

after all, also when using CNC machines, the artist has to program it......

 

and if I think about applications like on saxophones, I suppose, those will be still made by hand for a long time.......
