stuny Posted May 28, 2015 Share #1  Posted May 28, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) This lovely young woman is working at the Rockefeller Center store of La Maison du Chocolat for another week. Then she begins work at their US headquarters. I was there, as I am every 2 1/2 weeks refilling our stash of chocolates for Barbara and I to have one piece each every night. They have the best chocolates you can get in North America, and their macarons are even better than in Paris. wilfredo Posted May 30, 2015 Share #5 Â Posted May 30, 2015 I think this portrait would be more powerful if you cropped out the counter. Â The face against that background works very well.
pop Posted May 30, 2015 Share #6 Â Posted May 30, 2015 I think this portrait would be more powerful if you cropped out the counter. Â The face against that background works very well. I agree, but I would crop just above the notepad, leaving the marble border.

Lee Martin Posted June 2, 2015 Share #10  Posted June 2, 2015 I like the expression and colours, but without being given the title you wouldn't know what she was doing or where she was working. There's no evidence of the Chocolate ! I'm always  reminded of the great film of the same name, where just the store that is created gives off a fantastic atmosphere and just makes you want to go in and try some.
