LeicaPassion Posted November 9, 2015 Share #61 Posted November 9, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well, the dealer listed the lens as in stock on its website. I purchased it and it was then listed as out of stock. This a.m., the dealer informed me that it was not in stock since someone had purchased it the day before. So no lens. 1

Bill Livingston Posted November 15, 2015 Share #69 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) I think this article explains it all pretty well... http://www.35mmc.com/02/07/2015/leica-m-edition-60/ Written from the perspective of a Leica film user (but with a much more open mind and much more balanced in opinion than usually found! ) I think it gets across exactly why someone may choose to use an M60 as his digital Leica of preference. I get it... and had this camera been released when I bought my M240P, I may well have bought one. The lack of strap lugs would have been a bit of a problem and since using my M240P and setting it up the way I have, I get all the advantages without the disadvantages.... (Using the terms 'advantages' and 'disadvantages' quite loosely...). Nice article though... I think, worth the read. don daniel Posted November 15, 2015 Share #70 Posted November 15, 2015 The M60 looks so good with the original Summilux 35mm that I would use it with this lens although I like the Summilux 28mm more.

IkarusJohn Posted November 15, 2015 Share #72 Posted November 15, 2015 Is it fun to use the M60? Well, you can only use the optical viewfinder; you can't check the image after you've taken the picture; you manually set ISO, aperture and focus ... It's fantastic.
Rick Posted November 19, 2015 Share #73 Posted November 19, 2015 Is it fun to use the M60? No, no, no. It is fun to look at in the cabinet. You look at it everyday and say, "good morning my precious cabinet queen." Rick
