Doc Henry Posted March 29, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 29, 2015 Yes I agree with Paul Nice shot Ece Ece, may be better in Kodak Portra , no smooth edge because of pixels Best Henry
euston Posted March 29, 2015 Share #4 Posted March 29, 2015 Strange looking plant but a beautiful flower. I like to see a flower in these three stages together - bud, withered and full glory. All in all, a vision in cyan and magenta in a carefully balanced composition. I like this picture very much.

allamande Posted March 30, 2015 Author Share #11 Posted March 30, 2015 Paul, Henry, Robert, Louis, Ingrid, Stuart, Brent, Bill, Dee, and those with thumbs up! Thank you so much for your enthusiastic comments and feedback. I appreciate your time and your thoughts on this, as always. I wish I knew the name of the succulent (I should research it) but it is very common where I live and starts blooming this time of year. The color is quite striking and the blooms are very delicate (reminds me of poppies in texture). As Robert points out, various stages of the flower can be seen here because I just got very lucky with this cutting. It is always a pleasure to share something that really resonates with me and receive such supportive feedback. Doubles the pleasure! Thank you all very much.
