It needs a better sensor. Not more MP so much as more Fuji like and denser. The Leica does fair to poor single image HDR compared to the Fuji. De Wallen - Amsterdam's Red Light District : Photo Entirely lit by a drab, but still bright sky. My Fuji X does better at high ISO than my Leica's. I would not risk losing the Leica's where I shot this anyway. Just saying for the $, Leica has a so-so sensor. Leica needs to be first or match first in sensors and not be a laggard.
