  1. I have been to Berlin about 8 times over the past 3 years and I usually take m monochrom version 1 and 35 cron .... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. That's exactly how it works. For my home insurance, car insurance, camera insurance, and professional liability insurance for my company ( I am an architect.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. As I was not given terms, have not received any magazines since my subscription expired and did not sign anything or check any boxes they have no justification for this letter. And yes, I went through my email archives to determine what I actually agreed to. Regardless of whether they are in the right , it is poor public relations and ridiculous posturing as 15 minutes of any lawyers time or court filing fees will easily exceed the 79 euros claimed. I appreciate the point that you and Jaapv have made, however I did not agree, even unwittingly to a subscription contract. Sent from my
  5. I was never given a form or terms of agreement. I subscribed after my free six month subscription ended by replying to an email and paying by credit card online. At no point was I given formal contract terms or did I sign anything. So they really have no business sending me a letter like this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks all for advising that subscription cancellation requires notification in Germany . I will temper my reaction Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Dear fellow forum users, I have subscribed to LFI for several years. While I have enjoyed it, the cost of subscribing from North America is high. So this year I decided not to renew my subscription and let it lapse, as one does. After several letters urging me to renew and offers of free gifts, I received the attached letter threatening legal action. Funny , but I don't remember signing a contract with them. One wonders where they plan to file their statement of claim? In Germany , where I do not live, or in Canada. I suspect the legal and court costs of doing so would far exceed the 79 eu
  8. I didn't say it was. The M60 was. We all Know the M-D is black. My point is, if you had actually read my post, is that the cost of the tools and dies used plus the development costs of firmware software etc have already been amortized due to development of the M 60 and therefore the price of the MD should be lower.
  9. I think those tools and software costs were already accounted for with the fancy special edition stainless steel one designed by Audi...,
  10. Yes it is unusually stiff. And mine squeaked which was like nails on a blackboard. So I folded it up and put it back in the box.
  11. Agree with Steve. I used the leather strap for about a week then replaced it.
  12. I wear progressives and find it very difficult to see the 35 mm frame lines. I rarely wear my contact lenses anymore because of the hassle of carrying around reading glasses. I have learned recently however that there are now progressive contacts and another option is wearing a contact for distance in your dominant eye and a contact for reading in the other eye. Apparently your brain corrects for this.
  13. Soft release for M9 does not fit either original or new monochrom. You need one that fits m240
  14. I use it a lot. Fantastic lens. I tend to favor wide which not everyone does. I used to use it with my old monochrom which meant mounting the viewfinder but now I use it with 246 and use live view. I put a 35 summicron on the old monochrom instead and am totally covered as 35 is my go to lens for most things.
