ymc226 Posted February 21, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 21, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just received the nodal slide and panning clamp from RRS and am trying to figure out the nodal points on all of my lenses on the M240 which is possible given live view. On my M9-P and MM, would the values from the M240 be good enough as both these cameras do not have live view which would be more difficult to assess quickly. Advertisement Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Hi ymc226, Take a look here Nodal point for Leica M240 close to M9, MM?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted February 21, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 21, 2015 I think that the difference, if any (it can depend on the slight differences in body thickness) is negligible if you plan to use your set for pano/stitching : the Software tools for this (I use Hugin) are very clever. Echo63 Posted February 22, 2015 Share #3 Posted February 22, 2015 It will be in the same point, measured from either the flange or sensor. The hard part will be figuring out the offset from the M240 tripod mount to the M9 tripod mount - but once its done it will be the same for each lens (m9 offset vs calculated M240 = nodal point)
