The snow sculpture photos take me back to the mid 60s at Michigan Tech in the U.P. where the Winter Carnival was the annual highlight. I'd be out all night at -20 or so with TriX at 1200 shooting the frantic work in the final hours - with a Pentax H1a until I got my M4. Then develop and print for the student magazine to be printed by the end of the few day event. Then start covering the daily events. A couple years I was up for 3 days straight, and nearly frozen.
