fotofool Posted December 23, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Camden Harbor While motorcycling up the coast of Maine I stopped in this small fishing town (turned tourist town) where my grandmother lived many years ago. I have many fond childhood memories of summers there but haven't been back in decades. As I was trying to figure out a harbor wide composition with my Voigtlander 12mm lens this tall ship showed up to dock. I popped my M240 off the tripod and ran out on the dock to grab this shot. With the 35mm or 50mm lens I would more commonly use for street photography I don't believe I could have captured such a dramatic perspective. Thanks for looking! Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted December 23, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 23, 2014 Jeff, You are right. The perspective from that lens is perfect and you did an admirable job framing it to avoid the distortion that sometimes follow the swa lenses. Paul

roguewave Posted December 24, 2014 Share #7 Posted December 24, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Jeff, a very fine image. I love this harbor & it's long heritage. I even swam in the frozen water to plug a leak. It was the coldest I have ever experienced. Happy Holidays.
