stunsworth Posted May 10, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 10, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) From Andreas' message... "The Leica Forum moved about a year ago to an own domain, now we take the next step in order to show our independence from Leica Camera AG, Solms." I thought Leica paid the hosting fees? If the forum is independent from Leica who will pay the bills?

LUF Admin Posted May 10, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 10, 2007 I thought Leica paid the hosting fees? If the forum is independent from Leica who will pay the bills? Don't worry, I'll pay the fees. ;-) And I get some money from our advertising customers - the current ones and hopefully more to come. Now you know what the ads are good for... chris_tribble Posted May 10, 2007 Share #3 Posted May 10, 2007 Andreas - Kudos to you! I don't normally use forums - but during the post launch sturm und drang of the M8's development the LUF has been invaluable. I've been encouraged to continue climbing the learning curve, gained real insights into the strengths and limitations of this new tool, and time and time again found new ways of how to get the most out of the new camera. So thanks to you, thanks to all of us who contribute, and let's hope that LUF continues to be a resource that we all value.
