stuny Posted November 11, 2014 Share #1  Posted November 11, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Mtropolitan Museum of Art has a wonderful exhibit running until April 13th of works by Thomas Hart Benton. In the 1920s THB did a commission of murals on all four walls of the boardroom of the new Scholl for Social Research (Now, just The New School). the exhibit held all the murals erected around the walls of a gallery the same size as the board room, and the anteroom had many of his study sketches for the murals. if you're in NYC go see the exhibit.  Welcome, dear visitor! samwells Posted November 11, 2014 Share #2  Posted November 11, 2014 Thanks for showing those - wonderfully muscular and sculptural evocations of an age when progress was believed in and life was seemingly lived to the full…though labour might not have been quite as heroic as pictured… cheers: Sam
