Just traveled back from Chengdu with my 35 FLE as a single travel lens on my M240 .

Was pleasantly surprised with the 35 FLE's portrait capability.

This is a jpeg straight off the camera...

Hello Dugby,

Nice photo.

I find that I take about 90% of all my photos with a 35mm lens on a full frame M. Even though I learned a lot about photography with a 90mm lens. A 90mm lens is a lens that makes you think when you use it. I have used a wide variety of other focal lengths over time also but I find a 35mm lens more appropriate in more situations for me.

I find that the photos I miss when I am using 1 lens only are often compensated for by less to carry, ease of handling & no need to change lenses. I usually don't use much in the way of additional equipment beyond 1 or 2 light meters. This allows me to bring along a small solid table tripod which opens up a lot of options & almost always makes a good picture better while being small enough not to be bothersome.

Best Regards,

Michael
