fotografr Posted October 23, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted October 23, 2014 I've seen s lot of butterfly images and have taken several myself, but this is perhaps the best of them all. No offense to others who hand posted butterfly photos, but this one is extraordinary. Well done, Tom. The light quality, framing, color, sharpness--all superb. Tom Barry Posted October 23, 2014 Author Share #9 Â Posted October 23, 2014 What did you shoot this with? The bokeh is fabulous. Â The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. The lens is the first with a new technology that enables a more nearly perfect rendering of out-of-focus highlights, according to Panasonic. Essentially, they've tightened the tolerances on the lens elements. As you may know, Leica is now out with a version of the camera simply called the V-Lux. I'm using the FZ1000 for practically everything now, except as a pocket camera!
