dkCambridgeshire Posted October 22, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted October 22, 2014 The Peterborough Strongman Challenge and The Peterborough Strong Woman Challenge were held concurrently at the Autumn Show on Sunday 12 October at the Peterborough Showground. The 'Stones to Platform' contest required contestants to lift in quick succession, 4 concrete balls weighing 110kg - 120Kg each onto a wooden platform approx. 4ft 6" high, in less than one minute … and there was also one additional lift onto an oil drum if contestants could manage same. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! The lifts required good technique as well as strength - and technique involved using plenty of adhesive tape on arms and sticky gel on hands and arms to protect the skin and improve grip. The gel was cleaned off afterwards using lots of WD40. Best wishes dunk
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! pauledell Posted October 23, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 23, 2014 Dunk, A fun series with great shots. I wish I could pick up that much weight. It would make my D Lux-4 seem a bit lighter. Paul
