The next two, though nowhere near as clear, show part of an interesting behavior. This female Amazon kingfisher landed with its catch and began slapping the fish against its perch to break the fish's bones. Then if flipped the bird 90 degrees horizontally, and swallowed it whole.  Welcome, dear visitor! I'm giving the new one some consideration and might look at one tomorrow. I'm concerned about size, weight and the zoom -- If the move to digital zoom is fast enough, the sensor size should make up for the lost pixels, and of course I'd get significantly better low light performance.
