Took a walk through Kings Park yesterday, while waiting for sunset/moonrise and the bloodmoon.

the wildflowers are in bloom, and the normal green/brown has been transformed with big patches of colour.

#1 - a Banksia flower, with a bee

#2 - 100% crop of the bee and flower (i still can't believe what this camera/lens can do)

#3 - Kangaroo Paw

all taken with Leica M240 and 50 Summarit f2.5

Excellent (and stunning in the crop of the "loaded" bee), and a lovely reminder of when Barbara and I walked through Kings Park admiring the wildflowers.

Its an amazing place, i seem to be there every couple of weeks.

and its a stones throw from the CBD too

Excellent choices, and the ability of the equipment to withstand a severe crop is impressive!

it still amazes me what it can do !

thanks for the comments guys !
