stuny Posted October 8, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 8, 2014 A beautiful set. You probably have plenty of miles to get lounge access (and access to their showers). You'll find some interesting vantage points from the lounge. Hmmm. these might be from the lounge.
samwells Posted October 8, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 8, 2014 Wonderful shots - particularly like the incredible perspective in the second shot. cheers: Sam
A miller Posted October 8, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted October 8, 2014 Thank you Brian, Stuart and Sam. The second shot was taken from the BA lounge. It surprised me that photos were allowed to be taken, even at the security checkpoints.
appleman Posted October 8, 2014 Share #6 Posted October 8, 2014 I'm surprised that the airport officials didn't challenge you taking pictures for security reasons. Good pics though, I have an MM and the quality never ceases to amaze.

A miller Posted October 8, 2014 Author Share #10 Posted October 8, 2014 Yikes, sincere apologies! Yes, it was that bad. Two trips across the pond in less than a week with the last putting me in London for one day and no night. I usually drink myself to sleep but this time my stomach and liver couldn't bear the thought!

leica dream Posted October 9, 2014 Share #15 Posted October 9, 2014 A great series - just a shame that I hate airports which are such time wasters, although it is good to see you made excellent use of your waiting around. Richard

newnew Posted October 12, 2014 Share #17 Posted October 12, 2014 Very nice tonalities overall. Looks like some of the old lenses are having a re-birth in digital.
A miller Posted October 13, 2014 Author Share #18 Posted October 13, 2014 Many thanks, Ali. I agree regarding the old lenses. The summaron is the opposite of an APO yet has the potential of achieving quite pleasing results under the right circumstances. All the best, Adam
