stuny Posted October 7, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Times Square is infested with people in costume who pose with tourists for a fee. This man arrived at work well before the tourists (It's about 6:30), and is bathed in the changing advertising lights of Times Square, which is no doubt visible from several lightyears away. pauledell Posted October 7, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 7, 2014 Stuart, A funny shot. This scene reminds me of "The Muppet " in the Sesame Street show with the character and the colors. Paul

Timmyjoe Posted October 16, 2014 Share #9 Posted October 16, 2014 As a former Muppet, I must speak up. I think he is supposed to be Cookie Monster. Oscar the Grouch is green. Nice pic though.

Timmyjoe Posted October 17, 2014 Share #12 Posted October 17, 2014 I was with Jim Henson Productions in the Muppet Workshop from 1994 to 1996. Worked with the animatronics/mechs, designing and building the puppet skeletons so the puppeteers could get the type of expressions and movement out of the characters. Worked on puppets for Sesame Street, Muppets Tonight, the Animal Show, Muppets Treasure Island, Aliens in the Family and many others. Best job I ever had, working with the most creative and wonderful folks I've ever met. Did some background puppeteering on Sesame, Aliens, and whenever needed. All and all a Once in a Lifetime experience.

Since Barbara gave me my V-Lux 4 nearly two years ago it's that camera that I've used almost exclusively, leaving the others on the shelf. I shot this with the V-Lux 4.
