JE Posted May 7, 2007 Share #5 Posted May 7, 2007 Ivan, beautifully composed, the way it´s so crowded in the foreground and then opens into another world...great tones near the top. Jonathan
Artichoke Posted May 7, 2007 Share #6 Posted May 7, 2007 the old leads into the new as always your tonality is superb as are the textures, but I most admire this composition which makes the photograph resonate for me

beramos Posted May 9, 2007 Share #10 Posted May 9, 2007 The pretty thing of this photo, in addition to the composition is the resistance that offers the stone with the details, but, for my taste, the stone wall is too white (without detail). He is the unique thing that displeases a little to me. It could be perfect. Well Ivan.
azzo Posted May 9, 2007 Author Share #11 Posted May 9, 2007 Bernardo, You are right that the whiter stone may be a little bright. For the forum, I find that it's better to post a slightly brighter version than the ones I print. Although the image posted has in fact detail, the one I just printed is slightly darker and has more detail. I wish I knew how to post and attach the darker version, but I do not know how. Thankyou very much for your input. Azzo
biglouis Posted May 9, 2007 Share #12 Posted May 9, 2007 Great shot. The interplay between the old and the new is very striking. Very well observed and captured. LouisB

samwells Posted May 10, 2007 Share #14 Posted May 10, 2007 Great shot. Fascinating how the perspective of the buildings seen thru the doorway seems kinda twisted. Nicely seen! cheers: Sam
wda Posted May 10, 2007 Share #15 Posted May 10, 2007 Ivan, I am intrigued by the motion effect when you scroll down the page slowly and your image gives way to the following text. Very graphic. David
