Although being an active (amateur) photographer for 50 years now, I went digital only four years ago. Started with a D-Lux 5, had a Fuji x-Pro 1 to be able to use my M-lenses, then a Sony RX 1 for full format, eventually ended up with a M 240. Or so I though, ten days ago I received my  X 113. Fantastic camera that will follow me, hopefully for a long time. Since I shoot only dng-files, I've tried out a pre-set when importing to LR. Not so much color corrections needed compared to the M 240-files. But I'm not there yet I think. Have to wait for the summer light a s well, for the moment sun is about 30° above the horizon at noon here in Goteborg (we are roughly on the same latitude as southern Alaska), which is challenge when shooting color outdoor. Available light is sparse and the color temperature challenges the cameras auto white balance. Enough of into, here are my first tries with the X 113. Feel fre to comment!

Hi Analog-Photo,

The X is lots of fun and it looks like you are off and running!  You mention shooting in Sweden outdoors can be tricky this time of year; I enjoy subtle color shots (even ones that almost come off as monochromatic).

I also have RX1R and had an M9 before finding the X 113.  I still have my Sony and would consider getting an M9 again.  After seeing your window picture, I went looking for a file I made in Frankfurt with my X1 years back.  It is sadly sitting in a closet on a drive that needs to be tapped for files. I also shoot DNG mostly with the X but have found B&W Jpegs can be really good. Anyway, keep posting :)

Sadly I don't have my X1 any more ... I wish I had never sold it. Got the Q now though!

However, a photograph taken early one morning on the canal towpath at Pollington, Yorkshire. Straight out of the camera ... I rather like it. It even captured two people walking on the opposite bank, in the distance, in the mist.
