I decided on the Typ 113 because I wanted a compact with a bright prime lens.

 

Although I wish at bare minimum it had an integrated electronic hybrid viewfinder.

 

Then again that's just me.

Same here. I also would rather have a 50mm lens instead of the 35.

The X Vario would give you that option. Same body size and three useful bonuses: a 28mm, 35mm and 70mm equivalent focal lengths.

After playing with both, I decided to get the silver/chocolate combo, the sexiest camera around for my taste. Since there are no accessories to match this version I got a 43-58mm silver step-up ring and a vented lens hood with cap (which is exactly like the Fuji X100 hood) and works just fine.

Certainly a beautiful looking camera, I can't believe Leica didn't make a lens hood, god knows there would have been a big profit margin in it, unless they suggest the front element is recessed enough that it's not prone to flare ?

In all my cameras I use hoods basically for protection reasons, and I would certainly get the original Leica hood to match my camera, but such is life and we need to improvise. - I would also love a silver Vosiflex but it won´t be any
