kenf Posted September 18, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted September 18, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) One thing that has scared me off of the T is the lack of a mechanical lock for the Visoflex. I'm not worried about it moving while I'm actively shooting, I'm more concerned about its loss when the camera is on my shoulder. Â Visoflex owners, has yours ever partially or completely fallen off? Has it ever moved enough to lose electrical contact?
Advertisement Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Hi kenf, Take a look here How secure is your Visoflex?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
MichaelU Posted September 18, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted September 18, 2014 No, I am using it since two month and never lost it. I think it us quite secure.
AndreasAM Posted September 18, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted September 18, 2014 Haven't lost It yet, but I agree that a lock would make it more secure. But I can live with the current solution.
joshjagdfeld Posted September 19, 2014 Share #4 Â Posted September 19, 2014 When it's on, it really doesn't feel loose at all. I haven't worried once about losing it.
Y2kman Posted September 19, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted September 19, 2014 I have the Visoflex always on the T. So far never see it loose or fall. Not a worry to me.
attan Posted September 19, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted September 19, 2014 Had it on, on the day I purchased the T and it has yet to slip off. Had the T in a camera bag, hanging on my shoulder, it stays there quite securely I must say.

thighslapper Posted September 19, 2014 Share #8 Â Posted September 19, 2014 Never an issue. Â Same with the VF on the XV and M. Â The fit is reassuringly tight and I've never had a problem with poor contacts let alone coming adrift.....
spylaw4 Posted September 19, 2014 Share #9 Â Posted September 19, 2014 Secure fixing as has been mentioned above. However taking camera + Viso out of the bag to repeatedly find Viso standing upright rather than clicked flat can be irritating - IMO it needs a stronger catch to hold it flat. MichaelU Posted September 19, 2014 Share #10 Â Posted September 19, 2014 Secure fixing as has been mentioned above. However taking camera + Viso out of the bag to repeatedly find Viso standing upright rather than clicked flat can be irritating - IMO it needs a stronger catch to hold it flat. This is not an issue to me. My Viso is permanently mounted on the T and it never came upright out of the bag. It was always locked. I have a Lowepro Event Messenger 150 bag. tom0511 Posted September 19, 2014 Share #11 Â Posted September 19, 2014 Same here, it sits tight. Not an issue IMO.
stuny Posted September 19, 2014 Share #12 Â Posted September 19, 2014 Ken - Â A valid questions which seems to have been put to rest. However, I wonder if your posing the question will give T owners something new to worry about.
