Jon Warwick Posted September 22, 2014 Share #21 Posted September 22, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I find the files from the M240 can be manipulated much better than the M9 .....to my eyes, the M240 has more dynamic range, and produces smoother looking and richer looking files (with a look not dissimilar to drum-scanned medium format Kodak Portra) compared to the M9. I also find the smoothness of files from the M240 makes them much better for resizing into very big enlargements. In hindsight, for me, getting a new M240 (with full warranty etc) was certainly worth it for the above reasons.
